I’ll be honest with you, dear reader—cold weather is a scam.
Now, I say this as a dignified feline who has tested every sunny spot in this house for optimal nap conditions. And my human? Fully in agreement. We’re not fans. Really not fans.
See, it’s not just the cold that bites your whiskers—it’s the snow. Not the magical storybook kind, mind you. No, what we usually get is wet, sludgy, shoe-soaking mush that makes you question your life choices every time you step outside. There’s no whimsical frolic, no twinkling flakes. Just grey, icy betrayal.
Give us a warm blanket, a cup of tea (for the human), and a window that doesn’t rattle like it’s trying to escape the house. Winter can keep its drama—we’ll be under the covers, thank you very much.
